Leicester Cathedral learning centre
We were pleased to be appointed to design an extension to Leicester Cathedral where Richard III is buried. It’s a challenging site and we felt this was a time a 3D printed model of the existing building was needed if ever there was one. We considered cutting the model section cut line through Richard’s tomb but felt that would be distracting.
Our proposal is modelled using laser etched nickel silver which has then been folded into a 3D form.
