New café in Nottingham’s oldest park
Our refurbishment of Nottingham Arboretum’s Grade II listed Waverley Lodge is complete. The lodge was formerly used as the park rangers’ site office, but had been neglected, and Nottingham City Council decided to turn the 19th century building into a much-needed café for the historic park.
A new terrace provides external seating and level access into the building, while within the lodge built-in seating maximises the capacity of the café, with two attractive bay windows used as alcoves for larger tables.
