Planning submitted for Leicester’s historic Jewry Wall Museum
Our applications for planning permission, listed building consent and scheduled monument consent for work at Leicester’s Jewry Wall Museum and Vaughan College have been submitted.
The grade I listed Jewry Wall is one of the largest upstanding civilian Roman remains in the UK and is part of the remains of a larger bath complex.
Our proposed work includes a new walkway to improve access, a lift and stair to better connect the museum with the grade II listed Vaughan College building in which it’s housed, and plans to increase visibility from the city.
