Plans submitted for new cricket pavilion
Having won an invited competition in February this year, we’re pleased that work has progressed very quickly and we’ve now submitted our plans for a new cricket pavilion at Valley End Cricket Club, near Windlesham.
The new pavilion will provide changing rooms, a club room and associated facilities in approximately 350m² of floor space, with additional space for storage.
With the club owning two adjacent grounds, our design provides views over – and access to and from – both, using a change in levels between the grounds to create an elevated pavilion over undercroft storage.
A crisp, contemporary aesthetic will be created using high quality timber, glazing and a lightweight metal butterfly roof.
